Social Development Department Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her assistance and commitment to increasing South African Social Security Company (SASSA) services in the course of an engagement along with the agency's senior professionals in a strategic planning session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the many social grant beneficiaries, who excelled in the 2024 matric final exams.
With the 724 156 full-time learners who registered for the National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing eighty one% from the registered pupils from the training sector.
These learners realized a commendable pass rate of 86%.
